PushNote — Privacy Policy

PushNote ("the app") lets people send consented notes and reminders that arrive as push notifications. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account info: your email address and display name (when you register, or via Google sign-in).
• Note content: the notes/reminders you write and send, and their mood/style.
• Device push token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can deliver notes to your device.
• Basic technical data: timestamps and delivery status needed to operate the service.

We do not collect contacts, location, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your data.

How we use it

• To deliver notes you send, and notes others send to you with your consent.
• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To operate, secure, and debug the service.

Consent and control

• Someone can only push notes to you after you grant consent; you can revoke it at any time.
• You control per-sender treatment (normal, archive, block) on your device.
• You can request deletion of your account and associated data (see Contact).

Third-party services

Google Firebase (Authentication + Cloud Messaging); hosting/database (Render and Neon/PostgreSQL). These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.

Data retention

We keep your account and notes until you delete your account or ask us to remove them.

Children

PushNote is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be noted here with a new date.
